Coastal Foodshed is happy to collaborate with a Jordan Farms. Here's a bit more about the farm and their mission from their website:

"Jordan Farm is a family farm in South Dartmouth, MA. We aim to produce the highest quality products for our customers, to do so in a way that has a positive long-term impact on our land, our community, and our planet, while operating as a sustainable, self-sufficient business.

All of our market cattle were born and raised on the farm, bred from well-respected Hereford stock; we essentially operate a “closed herd” bringing a bull on to the farm every 2-3 years.

All our market animals (mainly steers) are approximately 24-30 months old. Jordan Farm is Animal Welfare Approved (AWA) and Grass Fed certified by A Greener World. We are not certified organic but we operate under the USDA organic protocols. We will need to wait another two years before we can complete the organic certification process. We are also pursuing Regenerative Ag certification.
